Ortovox Traverse 30 DRY is a well-structured touring and ski backpack for days on the piste and off-piste. The size is perfect for longer trips into the off-piste where you need more equipment. If you're going ski touring/randonee, this backpack is ideal.

DRY means that the bag is waterproof, where many other backpacks are just water-repellent. This means it can withstand even the harshest weather. At the same time, the backpack is made of environmentally friendly materials where no PFCs are used.

There is a compartment for avalanche and safety equipment that can be quickly opened. Skis can easily be mounted on either side of the backpack (A-FIX) or on the back (D-FIX) and snowboards, snowshoes, ski helmets and ski poles can also be easily attached to the backpack.

The back plates are made of a super lightweight material to minimize your weight and are also made breathable so the backpack is comfortable to wear even when you're working hard in the mountains. The ergonomically designed shoulder straps and wide hip belt ensure a snug fit.

This has a Regular fit, which means it fits a normal height/length back. It fits a back length of 42-50 cm. To find the length of your back, Ortovox's tip is to measure from the top of the hip to the 7th CERVICAL VERTEBRA/neck vertebra. (It is clear to feel). Otherwise, our experience is that this size fits a person from 170-195 cm.
