Ortovox Clasp Spine Protector

The Ortovox Clasp Spine Protector is a separate spine protector designed for the Ortovox Free Ride series.

The spine protector is very flexible, which means that it follows the spine when the body moves in different directions. This means that you get a back shield that doesn't restrict your freedom of movement.

It can withstand countless impacts and is made of SAS-TEC FOAM. This is a shock-absorbing material based on an "intelligent" molecular structure. These molecules behave normally during normal movements and instantly lock together during shocks and impacts. During slow changes, the molecules flow freely and the material remains soft and flexible. With a sudden shock or impact, the loose molecules lock together, dampening the force of the impact. The whole process happens extremely quickly. As soon as the shock is absorbed, the molecules return to their normal loose state again. When you use the loose back shield with an Ortovox Free Ride backpack, you are guaranteed optimal safety.

It weighs only 200 grams, a low weight that is not noticeable when used with the backpack. The weight difference is minimal compared to the protection it provides.

Ortovox has produced this separate back shield as it allows you to use the Free Rider backpack in your free time/everyday life when you are not skiing. In the past, the back shield was integrated into the backpack, where it is now detached. We 100% recommend that you buy this back shield if you are looking for a Free Ride backpack.

We send all parcels with either DPD or GLS.

If you place your order before 18:00 during bank days, we promise to ship your parcel the same day. Depending on the shipping destination, you can expect your parcel to arrive within 2-6 working days.

Shipping costs €5 to the European countries we send to.

Returns

Should you need to return anything to us, you are responsible for the shipping costs related.

We have a 14 days return policy, starting from the day you receive your goods.

Christmas presents can be returned to the 5th of January.
