EXPEDITION S is an upgraded version of the well-known SILVA Expedition Series, designed for experienced users and professionals. This series is known for its accuracy, precision and durability. The new model introduces two innovative features: a Slope card and a Scale lanyard. The Slope card helps calculate avalanche risk and assess route challenges, while the Scale lanyard, which is soft and flexible, makes it easy to measure distances directly on the card.

The compass features an easy-to-handle Dryflex construction, silicone rubber feet for precision map work, detachable safety release cords, night-friendly luminous markings, a magnifying lens and map measurement scales in mm or inches. It also includes built-in magnetic declination adjustments and can measure maps at 1:25,000, 1:50,000 and GPS scales. With a clinometer function for measuring tilt angles and 45-degree angle assistance on the mirror sight function, Expedition S is ideal for demanding terrain.
