Salomon Steep Pro Vario S3, ski poles, black/ebony
Salomon STEEP PRO VARIO S3 is an advanced ski pole for freeride and off-piste. It combines an aluminum tube (16 mm) with a carbon fiber lower shaft (14 mm) for optimal balance between weight and durability. The total weight is only 640 grams per pair.
The pole is length-adjustable thanks to the reliable Easylock system, making it easy to adapt to terrain and riding style. The shaft is reinforced with Kevlar to withstand tough conditions.
The S3 dual material handle has a foam extended grip for better control on steep traverses. The included S3 Premium strap has a built-in safety release system to reduce the risk of injury in the event of a fall.
An integrated screwdriver in the grip provides extra functionality in the field. The Carbide/Widia tip ensures grip on hard and icy surfaces.
