They are suitable for use in snow and rain, for example when shoveling snow, having snowball fights, or other activities where a good grip and protection from the weather are needed.The material is both water- and dirt-repellent, and the mittens have a waterproof and windproof insert that is also breathable. The palm and thumb are reinforced for increased durability, and the inside is lined with soft fleece for extra warmth. There is double insulation on the back, and a reflective label on the back increases visibility.
